What are the approximate living expenses in Lugano, Switzerland?
How much should a relatively young couple (we are both 30, no children yet, but planning to start a family by age 32) consider as a monthly budget to afford a comfortable living in Lugano, Switzerland? It doesn't need to be right in Lugano, but not too far out either, but if possible close to the lake. What are some cities nearby?
I'm interested in approximate prices for 1) Rent, 2) Utilities (i.e, water, electricity, heating for winter, trash pick up, etc), 3) Health Insurance (I've heard this is expensive!), 4) Transportation costs (ex: monthly cost to use public transportation within the city), etc...
