Having a baby in Taiwan

Hello,

I would like to find out a little more about health care in Taiwan, especially with regard to having a baby.

My husband and I may be moving to Taipei so that he can complete his research work. As his research work may take a while, it is quite likely that our baby will be born there.

Any related information (standard of care, cost, how friendly the system is to parents who want to be more involved with the process, etc.) will be greatly appreciated.
