Yanshui Firework Festival - Protective clothing

Hi,

I'm headed to Taiwan in February for a few weeks and would really like to go to the Yanshui Beehive Fireworks Festival.

From what I've read, full protective fire resistant gear (including motorcycle helmet) is necessary to take full part in the festival.

Does anyone know if there are places in Yanshui where I can rent or buy protective gear. Most concerned about being able to get a motorcycle helmet.
