I am interested in retiring and owning businesses in Tanzania, which I have been told can be tricky and complicated.
Here are my questions:
1. If I apply as an retiree as I am earning income online for being a professor as well as earning income from 1 or 2 other online business registered in the US as LLCs, can I also invest in Tanzania businesses as well such as a live performance business, agriculture business and road improvement business as a retiree, I am under the impression the amount you earn in your businesses in Tanzania will be capped or limited, is this true?
2. Should I apply as an investor and retire at a later date, such as 2 - 5 years, which order should I take that is prudent in terms of my permit application?
3. What is the lowest US amount that I need to proved in terms of salary to apply for a retirement permit?
4. If I apply for an investor permit how long will I need to be fully engaged in businesses as a solo business owner or in connection with a local Tanzanian before I can apply for retirement?
Thanks You,
