Air Quality - ?

Hello friends,

I am interested in possibly visiting
Thailand, or moving there.

I have asthma - so am very concerned about air quality : I can't breathe or tolerate: smog, smoke, car fumes , etc.

Would Pattaya be best, by the beach? I'm guessing Bangkok not
as good, or even bad?

Or other areas better?

Finally, would it be better or worse
than the Philippines?
