I have been to Thailand 15 times since 2004. Always planned to retire or semi retire there. Now at 63 I have plenty of money, passive income etc. But that income letter no longer issued by the USA embassy is very annoying. Now with the virus lockdown I took one more contract jobs in the USA and am waiting to see how Thailand settles down. I had been a member of thaivisa for 15 years but their moderators and new owners have acted so nuttily I have left. One can not even mention a hotel in the German Alps and got banned! I guess they know something I don't know, but so be it. Their site with all the pop ups and ads and constant page scrolling got so bad the site was almost useless. Hats off to expat exchange.
