I have lived in Thailand on an O-A visa for more than ten years. This last renewal, I did not have the required money in the bank due to emergency expenses, so if I cannot find a job or other solution quickly, I will have to leave. Since I have a house and family here, I am looking for any opportunity to stay in the country. I am well-educated, and have more than ten years' experience in teaching English as a Second Language, but most places in Thailand don't want to hire older people. I would be happy to stay on a study visa and improve my Thai language, but I don't know if this is possible. If anyone has any suggestions about teaching or other jobs, or places to look for job or study opportunities, I would deeply appreciate any feedback and/ or suggestions.
