Apartment Exchange your New York for my The Hague
I own a large (80 m2) quality 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment (separate toilet) in The Hague (and wish to swap it long term (minimum 1 year or preferably longer) for a studio, 1 BR or 2 BR in New York City. I would love the East Village, Soho, West Village but will consider other locations in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. The apartment is unfurnished and excludes utilities. The neighborhood is residential and family friendly with several schools close by. It’s 1 mile distance to the beach (Kijkduin) and about 30 minutes by tram (lijn 3 stops in front of the building) to the Centrum and Centraal Station (train station). I prefer a furnished apartment but am flexible.
Depending on the quality difference of the swap we can discuss a swap involving a small rent/utility fee or a full-on swap. The apartment was last renovated in the ‘70s but looks decent (especially if given a fresh painjob and new carpeting/wooden floor) and has great natural light. The apartment is also available for rent at EU R600-EUR 1000 + Utilities for 6-12-24 months contracts (or longer).
Please email me at [email protected] re your swap offer and to exchange pictures.
Starting dates are negotiable but looking preferably per April 1st or May 1st 2010.
