I am a registered child minder living in Hilversum.
I provide English speaking childcare for babies and pre school children aged 9 weeks to 4 years. I provide a fun, simulating, safe, warm, home from home environment for families living in Hilversum and the surrounding areas.
Full days 08.00 to 18.00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Breakfast and lunch can be provided by myself if needed.
I studied in the UK to work with children completing my N.N.E.B. in1995.
Since qualifying I have had vast and varied experience.
In England, I worked as a children's nanny, a teaching assistant in a primary school and established and ran a successful out of school unit (NSO) for children aged 4 to 11 years old.
While living in the Netherlands I worked for 4 years at Nike European Headquarters in Hilversum.
I left Nike EHQ, in 2004 to return to a career in childcare, working at the British School of Amsterdam as a Nursery Nurse in their Nursery Department with children aged 3 to 5 year olds.
Since my son was born in 2007 I have worked from my own home as a child minder (gastouderopvang)
I am 1st aid trained and fully registered working with the agency Blue Umbrella allowing parents to claim back the childcare allowance.
