Hello everyone!
I have a question about staying with partner visa. Maybe someone had a similar situation.
I am non-EU citizen and I live in the Netherlands for 4 years with a study visa. I am currently finishing my bachelor degree in one of the Dutch universities. After my studies I want to keep residing in Holland with my partner and thus apply for a spouse visa. But my partner doesn't work, so he can't be my sponsor for this visa. However, I do have a job contract for a year with sufficient income.
My question is if we are living together and have registered partnership, could our joint income be considered as a sponsorship money for my visa? My attorney says it is possible, because IND has to take European laws into account, but I can't find any evidences of this statement online.
And if it is so, but after a year I will lose my job would my spouse visa automatically be canceled?
Thank you for your help!
