Health Insurance

Is there a reasonably priced, local, health insurance option for retirees living in The Netherlands part time, say for 6 months out of the year? My US insurance doesn't carry over to the Netherlands. I've looked at private insurance with some of the big carries, but that can range anywhere from $900 to $4000 per month, depending on the company and level of care. Can anyone tell me if more affordable options are available, that still provide a good level of care.
