stay at home dads? car? babysitter??

Hi Friends, We just arrived a couple weeks ago with our 9 month old son. My husband is staying at home while I work for the Red Cross. We would love to find people with babies who might be interested in sharing babysitting. We'd love our son to play with other kids without actually putting him in a daycare (still so young). We are also in need of a car so if anyone is on their way out please let us know. We'd generally love to meet anyone else with kids or interested in exploring TT together.
