Long-term Visa

Greetings, and Happy New Year to all. I’m new to the group and have enjoyed the candid views. I’ve been to Kharkiv two times and wish to move there the end of this year. I’ve done research but looking for any tips on obtaining a long-term Visa. My apologies if there has been a thread dealing with this subject. It is my understanding the only long-term visa I can get is either employer sponsored, student or marriage. At this point none of those are not an option for me. Does anyone know if an NGO or church will can sponsor me? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Also could I go the Ukraine on the 90 day visa, then go to a border country rather the fly back to the USA then back to Ukraine? Thanks – Mike (Houston)
