After more than a year of procrastinating and lurking here on the forum I've finally taken the first step. Bought my plane ticket and will be in Odessa by the end of April.

Any words of advice? Specifically:
Best Internet Service Provider for unlimited downloads.
Any parts of Odessa to avoid (or avoid at night but ok during the day)?
Expat health insurance. Some say need it, some say ya don't.

Anything I left out? Please feel free to post about that too.
