Gas $$$ in Ukraine

My sister-in-law from Odessa told me today that home gas prices are to go up another 30% this year, is this correct.

We have friends in Vinnystia that try to rent a home about 1200 sq ft American. He says the best he can get for rent is $4000 Hyrvnia, and the home gas bill is $7300 Hryvnia in cold months.

What the heck is going on over their with heating costs....
