My wife caught on the news, (not American as you may guess): Biden's son showed up in Ukraine again, whatever he does there is a "front to swindle no doubt").In Poltava fracking is going on and the waste is poisoning the water on the t.v. news today. Many people are complaining, but why should the authorities care? The same is going on here.
Recently I e-mailed to Nate, I met a woman vendor @ a farmer's mkt and she said her mother spoke of hard times in Poltava. "The S.African coal is of poor quality burns 60%, and gives poor heat." Apparently the Poles wanted "cash" not I.O. U.'s.! The U.S. will sell them Pa. coal @ 3 times higher. to get miners work here. That's decent of the gov. here. As you have read, Wash. is trying to black- mail the E.U. on energy lately: crazy McCain and cronies leading the way no doubt. And the usual in the news, a man gets money from a bank and hooded men jump him in the car. Every day there is one of those stories. My wife is afraid to go to Kiev.
