A Suitcase and a Laptop

I too have won the lottery of love; since my story is too fantastic, I will skip it. I am educated and experienced at a very young 60. All planning aside. What if I arrived in Kiev with a suitcase and my laptop, having US$1400/mo placed in my bank account and a couple cards? I can move in with my fiance. Would you say my chances are OK? I have 2 Masters degrees and strong international business experience. Or, should I have a 2-week return flight?
