Abu Dhabi or Dubai ?

Hi,

I am writting you from Paris, France. French native, I have spent 4 years in the USA, then 4 years in KSA and 2 years in the Philippines.
I came back to France in 2000... and now I am currently having 2 challenging job offers in the UAE; One in Abu Dhabi and one in Dubai.

I would like to know if possible the Pros and Cons of each city for the familly life as I will come with my wife and baby boy. I have been several times to Dubai but none to Abu Dhabi.

Also, I would like to know what is the range of prices converning the housing in both city for a medium to high standard villa/appart. what do you advise ? Villa is naturally better or appartments are Ok as well ?

Furthermore, I would like to know, once car, housing, air ticket, health package are paid, what are the minimum salary required to enjoy fully those cities while saving on the side.
