Hi again everyone,
The decision has been made! We've accepted the offer and we're on our way to sunny Dubai! Looks like we'll be moving from Brisbane, Australia to Dubai sometime in December/January.
The company my husband will be working for has included 30000 dirhams for 'furniture' to establish ourselves over there.
Here's the big question (well, one of MANY big questions)... Should we put our 'stuff' in storage here (and pay storage fees for who knows how many years) or should we use the money to have all of our furniture packed and shipped to Dubai?
Has anyone done this? Any good or BAD experiences with international movers from Australia? Can we use all of our Aussie electrical appliances in Dubai? With a 10 week old baby to worry about, I'd like to make all of this as hassle free and efficient as possible.
So many questions...
