Hi everyone,
I've just accepted a job in Dubai and will be packing up my worldly belongings and flying out in around 5 weeks. Although I'm excited about the whole situation I have to admit I'm also more than aprehensive about it. I've never actually been to Dubai although I've not heard one bad word about the place from anyone, I decided not to visit before my move as I think that I would ask myself too many questions if I took time to think about things too much.
The job offer will leave me in more than a comfortable position and the package also includes my appartment and car. Just wondered if anyone can give me any advice on living in Dubai. I'm a 25yr old single man from Leeds in England. My spare time is usually spent like many other people my age going out, socialising, gym, looking in the mirror [joke], sports etc. So will I be able to fill my time without too much hesitation? I'm just trying to convince myself that there'll be plenty of people in the same situation as me and I guess I'm just after a little reassurance that I can take this new life head on and make it a success.
Hopefully speak to you soon.
Cheers
Ben
