Renting costs in Dubai

I am going to be relocated to Dubai in the coming months for about a year. I want to rent a villa for myself and my family. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what types of extraneous fees might exist beyond the rent itself. I have heard that the broker's fee is 10%, is this typical?
