Villas in Abu Dhabi

Hi

We are moving to Abu Dhabi after Easter this year and hope to send our children to the British School. Can anyone recommend good areas to live close to the school and other amenities. We also hope to bring our dog over so any recommendations about places to walk him would be greatly appreciated! Are dogs allowed on the beaches? or in the parks?
