Canadian couple moving to Dubai

1. When moving to Dubai, what do you have to do with the Canadian government in order to ensure you don't have to pay Canadian income tax from money earned in Dubai. Is it complicated. We have some assets (home and cottage and cars to do something with).

2. Electricity - Will Canadian appliances/electronics work on their power? Do you have to buy a bunch of converters? (i.e. Microwave, sewing machine, computer etc...).

3. Is it easy to lease a car over there. Is insurance expensive.

4. How complicated is it to get a driver's license (having one already in Canada).

5. Medical coverage - what is a typical package that employers might provide. What extras should you expect to pay for?

Enough for now.

Thanks in advance.
