Considering a move to Abu DHabi..

Hello all, I'm currently based in the US, and have recently received an offer to join a firm in Abu Dhabi. I'm really interested in the work they do, but I have my reservations about moving to the city.

I have visited Abu Dhabi frequently, so I know how sleepy and quiet it is. My biggest concern (after housing, which I will address in another post), is making friends.

How easy is it to develop your social circle? And what do people do for fun?

About me, I'm 28, F, from South Asia, have spent most of my life in Singapore, and have been in the US for the last couple of years.
