Moving to Dubai in September, any usefull suggestions?

Hello Dear All,

How's going ;)?

I'm moving to Dubai in Sept for a year or more. I'll be student of Wollogong Uni (Marketing).
Currently I'm making some research about Dubai :).
I want new friends - funny, easy going, positive, smart and who likes enjoy life and to share experience and be good friends.
I would highly appreciate if you could give general suggestion about life in Dubai as there are some pro's which we can ont find online.
Also, anybody can suggest regarding a job? As my study is in evening, i'll be able to earn extra daytime.
