Hi,
I have started recently in Dubai, and in the process of picking a bank. I'm considering two main options:
-HSBC: mainly because I already have an HSBC advance in my home country, Egypt. and would be great to make things aligned, specially with HSBC Global view and ease of transferring money when needed (I do not expect to do that often though)
- Emirates NBD: I hear it is the most widely used among my network with great deals and installment plans in IKEA and many other stores. it seems like the defacto standard here.
Points I am interested in:
- Basic banking operations (withdrawal/deposit)
- Online and mobile banking.
- Paying bills
- Car loans
- Other loans (schools)
- Having USD Account as well as AED
I'm checking the websites of both, they both look fine (NBD looks a bit confusing with different account types)
Anyone has tried both or any of them and might have any recommendations?
Thank you
