Please I need your advice about relocating to Dubai. I am a Doctor living in Denmark. The Quality of life here in Europe is pretty good however there are some points are making me thinking about relocation to Dubai. Btw I have also the danish passport so I can return back again if I didn't like it in Dubai.
So I'm thinking of relocation due to the following reasons:
1. Better pay and Tax-free (will be 2.5x my actual salary)
2. The life expenses is not very expensive in Dubai as compared to big cities in Danemark (See numbeo.com)
3. Better Weather FOR ME myself (I hate Winter, Cold , Ice, and absence of Sun which makes me depressed, the Multilayer Winter clothes, ALSO hate RAINS ..etc ). So for me personally, I prefer to tolerate hot Summer and sitting indoor in Air conditioned building and having sunlight than having cold weather.
4. Easier to establish your private clinic later (In Europe it is strictly regulated and very difficult and need long time of practice to be allowed to make it)
5. I like well-established beaches with all utilities, fun areas for kids, Cafes, entertainment activities.
6. Regarding sport, I like at most swimming ie water and beach activities.
7. I like night life especially outdoor one. with open cafes, restaurant, cinemas till late oclock near the midnight. In Europe all shops close by 6-8 pm maximum ´,
8. Easier and more comfortable daily life activities and available services in Dubai, like shopping, supermarket,
9. Easier services available in Dubai like getting baby sitter for the kids, Maid, House-cleaning, Garden service …..etc.
10. The petrol and energy cost is very much cheaper in Dubai
12. Very secure in Dubai like Europe if not even more
13. Nearer flight distance to my home country to visit my parents in holidays
14. Cheaper apartment renting and the apartment in Dubai are better equipped, mor luxurious and bigger in size. If things do well in Dubai , I’m planning in the future to buy my own Home there using long-term 10 years loans
15. For people saying that you must eventually leave and can’t stay there forever, I’m planning to do my own private business there in the future to get permanent residence prolongation (Residency by investment)
So, after analyzing these factors, I don't see any major negative points in Dubai but may be my knowledge is not sufficient because I only visited it as tourist and only short duration.
So please, I need advice from an Expat living there for long period.
How is life there with family and 2 Kids?
Do you get bored after sometimes because in UAE there is only 2 nice cities ie Dubai and Abu Dhabi. (In Europe alot of cities)
are there any hidden negative points which you discovered later on after living in Dubai for a long time ?
SHOULD I RELOCATE or NOT?????
