HELP!!!!!!!My husband and I are frantically trying to relocate to England. We have been unsuccessful in all attempts in finding employment opportunities. Some people have told us to just move to England, find a job and worry about obtaining a work permit once we get at that time. Others have stated that we should absolutely not move until we have obtained a job and have been issued a work permit. Does anybody have any suggestions? Also, does anybody know of any legitimate recruiting companies that help Americans obtain work permits or sponsorships prior to making an international move?
Currently, I am working in the insurance field as a Claims Specialist. I have a BA with a major in Geography and an emphasis in cultural and urban studies. My husband has a BA in Political Science with a major in International Relations and a MA in Political Studies. Unfortunately, where we live there is nothing that my husband can do with his area of study. So, he is currently working as a Manual Draftsman/Project Manager for a general contractor and some interior designers.
