Advise on move to UK

Hello,

I am interested in getting information on custom duties etc. related to moving my one year old car to UK from US, where I will be for 3 years. I am also moving most of my household goods to save storage and re-purchase at the other end. I have to pay for the move myself and arrange it all, as it is less than a 5 year term.

Are there things that I have to be aware of? I have never done this before so all inputs welcome. If I could hear from you in the next couple of days that would be great.

Truly appreciate the help, as I am not able to reach a real live person in the British consulate.
