Aussie & Yank, would like to move to the UK

Hi! I am an Aussie and my husband is a Yank. We both live in the US at the moment (NC).

We are seriously considering moving to the UK (for a minimum of 12-months), IF it's possible!?

We both turn 27 this year (2003). I am still an Oz citizen. Can anyone help us with any advice?

At this point in time, it looks like my brief research has indicated, in order for us to get a work visa, we'd need to have a company offer us a job over there first?! I am a journalist, and hubby will be a chef (he is just finishing his last semester of college, after having been in the military for some years) - we'd hope to possibly move no earlier than early 2004.

ANY advice would be appreciated!!

P.S. I have an Aunt (Aussie) who lives in London, and has for years, but not sure what type of visa she was on. Help!!
