Living in Wales

My husband and I are considering a move to the UK. First choice was the London area but the cost-of-living may be too prohibitive to us. I am and EU and US citizen. My husband is a US citizen.

We have traveled in southern Wales alot and are considering our move destination to be Cardiff. Does anyone have any information about living in Cardiff, jobs, websites, housing etc? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
