Where to teach in the UK?

22 years ago
I have qualifications to teach secondary and vocational education. I believe teachers are needed in the UK so I will have a choice where to go and I plan to have a job to go to. Unfortunately, finance will be a problem as I am a single parent and will still be assisting to support my young adult son's education in Australia. The nineteen-year-old will go with me. Please advise on quality of life factors (cost of living) primarily.
