Yanky Marrying an EU Citizen

Hi,
My boyfriend is Italian, but living in England. I am American. We are planning to get legally married in the States this summer and then I will join him in England. Our wedding is planned for this winter in Italy.

We would like me to have dual citizenship between Italy and the US, but we will be living in England. Does anyone know if this is possible? For what kind of VISA do I apply?

Also, does anyone know if I will be able to work right away, as a spouse of an EU citizen or will I have to wait until I am a citizen? I know that I can apply for a work VISA, but is it necessary if we are married?

And FINALLY, I have a Master's in education, but not in teaching. Does anyone have any ideas about where I should start to work?
