Help with the Tax situation in working for a US company but living in the UK

I am considering to work for a US company but live in the UK and I am a UK citizen. I'm not sure how it will work with regards to Tax as I will most likely be paid from the US as this company is ony based in LA.

I would be grateful is someone could let me know all the posibilities with regards to tax, offshore bank accounts etc.
