Moving to London with a large dog -- where to live?

I used to think people who considered their dogs as their babies were weird. Now I'm one of them. I'm considering a move with my company to London, but the dog (a 60 pound black lab mix) must come too. I'd love to live in the center of everything, but don't remember seeing too many dogs around last time I was in London. Any suggestions? Is it even easy to find a flat/landlord that will accept a dog? I need to be close to a park.
