Hi
I have just moved to London 1 week ago. I have 2 questions...
1. Permanent accommodation
I am currently staying in temporary accommodation provided by my company, but I am now looking for a modern, one bedroom apartment within 15 minutes commute of my office in Canary Wharf and around £240-280. I am considering the following:
(a) A 1 bedroom apartment in New Providence Wharf which is 15 mins walking time to my office; or
(b A 1 bedroom in Limehouse which is a 15 mins bus ride to my office.
However, there seems to be a lack of conveniences (e.g. cafes) within a short walking distance of these two locations. Does anyone know of any other areas close to Canary Wharf that would have modern 1 bedroom apartments at around this price range but with the conveniences?
2. Friends
Where are the best places to meet 22-35yo Austrlalian Chinese, Overseas born Chinese or Asian professionals/students who are enjoy going to bars / night clubs? And which bars / night clubs do they go to?
Thanks.
