Advice for moving US-UK

I am a US citizen who doesn't feel like one. I am contemplating a move to UK, but from what I can see getting a visa is going to be difficult short of entering a relationship w/ a UK citizen.

This is not anything immediate, am looking 2-3 years into the future, at the earliest.

Am currently a college student, but hope to finish my studies before moving.

Any advice for potential to obtain a visa to UK would be appreciated.
