Package, hidden costs and dogs

Moving to London early '07.

Package include COLA of 43% net of tax. Company will pay shipping, tax prep, trips home, storage, etc.

Not paying housing, educ.

Also going to ask for about $15k to cover moving related expenses (e.g., new appliances, deposits, TV license, etc.). What are the hidden costs people found? Does that amount seem reasonable?

Also, will be bringing a dog. We know about the steps we need to take here to get it cleared, but what are the other costs and issues I may be missing? How much is it to fly a large dog over?
