Hi - I've been offered a position working in London with the company that I work for now. I've read through many of the other forum topics and want to make sure I'm covering all of my bases. The job offer is still being finalized but here are some of the highlights:
- Base Salary: 120,000 pounds (still being negotiated, but this is the starting point)
- Living Expenses: The company I work for owns many properties around London, which I've heard are quite nice. 10% of my salary is deducted from my paycheck to cover rent/utilities (from other expats that I've talked with that work for the same company, the 10% is a good deal since the properties the company's own would cost more on your own)
- Household Goods: Company pays for transport for all good to and from the U.S.
- Temporary Housing: Company pays for temporary housing/extended stay hotel until permanent living quarters are arranged and my household goods are in the flat
- Taxes: Company makes me "whole" for taxes (I'm still trying to get more information on this one) and pays for an accountant to do my taxes for me
All in all it seems like a good offer - anything other advice that anyone can provide me would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
