I am moving from Seattle to London and just recieved this offer from my current company. It's a 2-3 year commitment.
All in USD
Base = 72,000
Relocation Bonus = 17,500 (this is to include shipping all our stuff, moving our dogs, covering the rest of the lease on my car and apartment)
Travel Allowance = 2,000 for the first year
Temporary Housing = 6,000
Housing allowance = 1,000/month for 2 years
Tax assistance = 3,000
Visa fees = 4,000 (to include both me and my fiance)
Does this look like a fair package? I know that it is incredibily expensive to live in london so I need to know if realistically we can live off of this. My fiance will be looking for work after we move there, so we will probably be living on just my income for awhile.
Thanks in advance for your help!
