Health insurance for travels back to US?

We are interested in finding out what people for health insurance when they travel back to the US for holiday. My husband is a local hire here in the UK; thus, our health insurance is solely through NHS/BUPA and we have no coverage in the US.

For those similarly situated, do you buy travel/health insurance when you go back to the US to visit?
