Conversion US salary to GBP

Hi,
I moved last year from NY (Westchester) to Central London. I took some time off and now want to get back to work.

All recruiters ask for salary in US and than convert that to GBP as my last salary.

That is totally ridiculous and I want to adjust my last salary (base $130 K plus 30$ bonus) to a comparable UK salary.

I know mercer has guides for this but they cost $450! Anyone have the information on the conversion ratio?
