Assessment Centre - What to Expect

First-time poster here, my situation is as follows:

I am an American in his mid-20s who has been living and working in Tokyo for the past few years.

I have recently been in contact with a company in the UK regarding employment, and now having passed the first few rounds of interviews I have been invited to an 'assessment centre' in London.

I have done some research online about assessment centres (as I had never heard of them), but I am still a bit lost as to what exactly to expect.

Any advice or information you have pertaining to ACs would be highly appreciated.
