Corporate info for UK expatriate

Hello,

Thanks very much in advance for any support/advice given. I appreciate the free resource!

I have a potential opportunity in the near future to travel to England as an expatriate with my wife, who may be posted there for 2+ years on federal government assignment.

I am aiming to maintain my current job, but my small company has no experience with employees living abroad and needs me to perform some research on it. Are there any resources I can (a) use to educate myself on the topic or (b) point them to for information on tax/payroll issues for this situation?

I have a decent handle on my personal tax situation and don't need much guidance there as the rules are pretty clear. My HR department, however, doesn't know where to start for corporate research.
