Can I switch jobs after transfer?

Hello all,

I am hoping to find a way to move to the UK and work there for a few years before moving permanently back to the US.

I have read through what is available on the Tier program that has started and I think I get the basics.

One question I have that I haven't been able to find an answer for yet is this,
I currently work for an international company that has offices in the UK. If I manage to get a job transfer from the US to the UK while working for them do I need to stay employed by that same company for the duration of my stay? Or once I have a work visa can I apply for other jobs?
