US Citizen considering a move to the UK

Hi my name is Sara I am 26 and am seriously considering a move overseas to the UK. I graduate this coming May with a bachelors degree in Psychology. I was just wondering what I needed to do to get started on my plans if I want to move once I graduate next May. How soon do I need to start looking for jobs with a company that will sponser my Visa? I have read a lot of topics on thsi forum and they are very helpfu.
