DH has been offered a position in London. The company has never relocated a family internationally. They've been very accommodating about our requests, with the exception of tuition assistance for our 4 and 6 year olds. I'm hesitant to take my kids out of the American curriculum and put them in the British system where, from what I understand, they'll be behind. I'm also aware that getting a spot in a state school will be difficult b/c we plan to move in January/February time frame. My questions for all of you:
1. Am I being unreasonable in what I seem to understand about expats and education?
2. Can anyone provide an example of their experience with getting their kids into state schools?
