I will be moving to the UK in September to start my graduate studies. I will be there for a year.
I want to open a bank account to have access to money and avoid the ever fluctuating exchange rate fee. I have done a little research and have found out that it's extremely difficult to open an account in the UK. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good bank to go through?
I would not object to online banking, as long as I receive an atm card. I am also looking for something I will be able to open in the UK, one less thing to worry about when I finally move.
