Moving - Electronics

We're moving to London in a week, and I'm confused as to whether we can take the following items and what we need to make them work in the UK:

1. PS3
2. XBOX 360
3. Lamps

We are not taking our US tv, and we'll probably buy one in the UK. Will we have any problems connecting our US game consoles to the UK tv?

Lastly, would it be a better idea to buy adapters/ transformers in the US or the UK? Thanks!
