Retired on disability want to move to UK

Hi everyone,
My late boyfriend lived in the UK and our future plans included me permanently joining him. His sudden, unexpected passing has left me still yearning to move to the UK. I want to continue the volunteer work he did for Disability Rights. I am disabled and collect SS Disability and my pension.
I believe I will be able to continue to receive my SS Disability payments and my pension money will enable me to be self-supporting. Would such a move be possible? What would I need to do? I am thankful for any and all advice!!
